Ken Dichter is a co-founder of US-based Wheels Up. This company operates something of a unique business. It is a subscription-based private aviation solution and a very useful option for people who want private flight options. Mr. Dichter pointed out in a recent interview he did on CNBC that their business could be arguably more recession-proof than other private flight options.
We spent a few minutes with Mr. Dichter asking about the business and their focus on the Beechcraft King Air 350i. He’s a big fan of this aircraft. He thinks they could eventually use 1,000 of them. Which is rather eye-popping and no doubt delightful news to Textron.
Co-Founder AirInsight. My previous life includes stints at Shell South Africa, CIC Research, and PA Consulting. Got bitten by the aviation bug and ended up an Avgeek. Then the data bug got me, making me a curious Avgeek seeking data-driven logic. Also, I appreciate conversations with smart people from whom I learn so much. Summary: I am very fortunate to work with and converse with great people.
