Don is correct that nobody (including engine and aircraft OEMs) know the value of real-time data from the aircraft. Not sure who and which OEM commented about 60% but that is unsubstantiated and needs further clarification. HTS is the key satellite network design.
I wonder what the exede (Direct to Home) users think of the Ka service and as ViaSat signs up more aircraft, how will the service to ground users will be affected.
