Premium – Air China Fleet Review

Air China is the flag carrier of the People’s Republic of China.  The airline brand is one of six created from the 1988 breakup of what was CAAC.  Air China took over CAAC’s international routes and also its long-haul fleet.  Air China went from a state-owned company to a public company in 2004.  What does the airline’s fleet look like?Air China is not as large as its Chinese competitors – the following table lists the world’s top ten airlines in order of revenues and includes a number of other key metrics.  There are some gaps in the available data.  Air China is not in the top ten, while two its Chinese competitors have reached this level.
